Anila leads her classes the way she likes to live, connecting deeply to many different philosophies, teachings, therapies, histories and science with great music to back her up. Her classes are integrous, informative, silly, sarcastic, raw, real, and reflective. She is compassionate, caring and committed to each of her students, mentees and peers. She provides a safe and supportive space for people to meditate, reflect and integrate. She will meet you as you are, and remind you to breathe. She is a faculty member of the Yoga Teacher Training colleges for both Salt Spring Center of Yoga and YYoga, in the 200 and 500 hour programs. She has taken thousands of hours of training in anatomy and physiology, philosophy, meditation and breath practices, history and ethics, and is certified by the Yoga Alliance as E-RYT500. She is a current and past Lululemon Ambassador, which has allowed her to participate in many service and community oriented offerings in line with her perspective of serving others in physical, mental and spiritual health and empowerment.
