Gentle Hatha

Gentle Hatha is a yoga style which as its name suggests, is very gentle in its approach and therefore, not as strenuous as the other practiced forms of yoga. Gentle yoga, because of its innate gentle nature, is perfect for those who may be new to yoga, elderly, practitioners who are in poor physical condition or those who are simply looking for a more relaxed and laid back workout as well as seeking a calming of the mind.

Hatha

Hatha yoga classes will strengthen, stretch, tone and relax your entire body. Whether you are trying to get in shape, cope with tension from the office or relieve the tightness in your body from sports, this class can benefit you. Hatha yoga is the classical form of yoga postures and breathing that revitalizes the body physically and mentally. It is an uplifting practice that increases muscle tone, improves flexibility and concentration, detoxifies the vital organs and allows you to relax deeply.

Flow

An invigorating yoga class that will allow you to gain strength, flexibility and health while you continue to challenge yourself and have fun. Explore movements linked with breath in this dynamic class. This class is for intermediate to advanced students.

Yin

Yin yoga class is a practice which targets tendons, ligaments and fascia within the body. Each posture during a Yin yoga class is held for long periods of time to encourage the slow and safe opening of connective tissues, leaving the practitioner with an overall feeling of lightness, spaciousness and peace. A Yin yoga class is the perfect antidote to stress and a great counter balance to more active styles of yoga.

Restorative

Let stress and tension melt away Let stress and tension melt away and connect with a deep sense of peace and relaxation. Restorative Yoga is a gentle healing form of Hatha yoga that is practiced with props to provide a supportive environment for total relaxation. The gentle poses create physiological responses which are beneficial to your health and can reduce the effects of stress-related illness. The class is slow, deeply nurturing and suitable for all ages particularly those with chronic pain or limitations.

JOGA (or JOGA Flow)

In this class, we will move through a series of active strength based postures, focusing on stabilization of the joints. Once we are warmed up, our focus will turn to lengthening, stretching and calming the body. This practice was designed for an athletic body and athletic mind. That being said, everyone at any level can practice this class.

Candlelight Hatha

A relaxing class done to candlelight. Hatha yoga classes will strengthen, stretch, tone and relax your entire body. The slow pace of this of this class allows you to enjoy each pose. Expect lots of stretching and lengthening with a heavy dose of relaxation to wrap up your practice and leave you feeling great.
